One time, i was waiting for a bus to go to school with my friend. Bus should be here at around 08:07 and busses being a bit late ain't too uncommon. But, we saw the bus going and it was 100% our bus and it literally just drove past us. There's no way the bus driver didn't see us as we were around 10 people or something there waiting. Next bus would be here around 08:27 or something and we'd be late if we took that bus, but if we starting walking to school, we'd also be late. The bus driver just 100% fucked us over.

I used to hate public transportation while I was studying in the city... the trains always broke down, so I'd end up in a random suburb waiting for the bus for hours. One time I made my way to my dad's place when the trains stopped running, didn't even make it out of the city. I had to wait for and catch multiple buses, and along the way I started taking with a few other people in the same situation. I told them "funny thing is, I'm trying to get to my dad's place to pick up my car" cause I was gonna spend the weekend at a friend's, we had a good laugh...

Old vid but, after 20 minutes, I would have started walking towards the next bus stop, and if it wouldn't be there when I got there, I would have keep walking until either the ride to the uni on a bus would make no sense because I'm like 3 blocks away, or I reach the uni on foot. Either way, I don't live too far from the uni, so I could walk there if I wanted to, but the shortest route was also the most dangerous one, so I often would have to take a bus (or two) to get there. Then I got a bike, and problem solved.

I hate waiting for the bus in the winter, keep in mind that I live in wisconsin, where its pretty cold in the winter, that it snows late as spring and early as Halloween.
Like one time in winter: I was in 5th or 6th grade with other kids at the bus stop, waiting for the bus. After minutes of waiting (which it was so cold that it felt like hours), everyone and i mean EVERYONE at the bus stop agreed to wait for the bus inside because it was so cold and started heading to our houses. And (I swear) as soon I got on my driveway, gess who desided to show up...... THE FUCKING BUS! It just appered to just poped into existance like it was there the whole time!

If you think Canada's public transit system has problems, you should see Puerto Rico's. If you miss one bus, it could be 5 minutes to an hour before the next one comes. And that's every day, with humid 30-degree weather.

I live 8 hours north (by car) and we get -45 and 2 feet of snow with ice perma packed onto the road about 2 or 3 inches thick, Toronto winter is a joke
